Publications scientifiques: le Canada conserve le 8ième rang mondial

After peaking at less than 26,000 publications per year since the middle of the 1990s, Canadian scientific production once again regained a rising curve in 2003, reaching an unprecedented record of more than 32,000 titles in 2005. Based on a comparative examination of the major countries producing scientific publications, this Note puts the evolution of Canadian production into perspective, and proposes explanatory elements on the subject.
