Note n°24, March 2012, "The Evolution of Science and Engineering Research in Canada"

This note provides a bibliometric portrait of thirty years of Canadian research in natural sciences and engineering (NSE). Using scientific publications, we first look at the evolution of Canada's production and its place among other comparable countries between 1980 and 2010 before examining the development of scientific collaborations between Canada and these countries for the same period.
